Everything’s great about this piece of equipment except for the miserably inadequate assembly instructions. Wow — it’s sad when the Cautions and Warnings are more comprehensive . . .

Boy, I wish I would’ve jumped when I saw it drop to $1699. At $2599, it’s no longer a good deal. Check out Consumer Reports…there are other machines out there with nearly the same performance at a much lower price. But hey, if they decide to drop the price back to $1699, or even $1899, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Thank you to the previous reviewer for giving great installation feedback. We knew what to look out for, and probably saved time and avoided frustration.
The assembly was easy – it took an hour perhaps or less. No headaches. The machine is compact and easily fit into the space we assigned. But best of all, it is so easy to use, has a variety of great and interesting programs, it moves so smoothly and it is quiet. I could not have asked for a better machine. I have used it every days since we got it, and my work out experience is just great. I was worried that the home machine would not stand up to the gymn ones, and that somehow I would be disappointed. I think this one is better – and using it at your convenience – what more could you ask for?
Update Jan. 2010: I have been using the machine for 3 months now and absolutley love it. I like all the different programs, and look forward to working out – hope it stays this way! The machine is so quiet that I can work out while my husband is on conference calls. I am 5′6″ and my husband is 6′ and the sizing is right for both of us.

I also have had a problem with the machine going into the pause mode and have been very frustrated with it. Today, I finally spoke to a human being at Diamondback. Call 1-800-776-7642 and say “fitness” to get you to the right department. (They are west coast time) There are only two guys in the department, David and Scott. The email link on the Diamondback site doesn’t get your complaints directly to them. After a chat with them this morning, I received a call this afternoon from a service technician who will be sending someone next week with the needed parts. They ARE aware of the “pause” problem.
Hope this helps.

I’m not going to say a lot. It’s a great product. It’s super quiet, you barely hear it at all….the microwave is way louder than this machine. The programs are great. The workouts are great. Just buy it.
