I live in a high rise apartment building so I have neighbors above, below, and to the sides so any noise made on the wood floors is easily heard by everyone. Mat truly does absorb a lot of shock and prevents more noise than was produced by running the treadmill on a normal carpet. Fits treadmill size perfectly, not bulky, easy to roll up and store.

I bought a couple of these in 2007 for my heavy duty Sole Treadmill and Elliptical machines on plush carpet. Those were solid, and protects both the carpet and equipment, so I purchased it here for other purposes now such as under TV Stands to make them easier to roll/manuever so I can get to the cables in back -BUT- the mat I received was Soft, not solid, so it was not like the one by the same manufacturer purchased in 2007.

I am assuming these are still the “solid vinyl PVC construction” as advertised. I bought a Supermat 3×4 mat recently (May 2009)

and it was a soft material that rolled/bunched up under my equipment, so I cut it up with a box knife and used it for other purposes. The heavy duty vinyl is almost impossible to cut so easily.

The description on Amazon.com said that it was 7 feet long. Twice they sent me a mat that was only 6 feet long. I called customer service and they said that they must not actually have the product that I ordered. I cancelled my order and ended up ordering a different mat (7 feet long) that unfortunately was twice the price.

How does one review a mat?!

It’s a mat. It fits under my large Sole F80 with some length and width to spare. It protects the floor. And it was one of the lower priced mats.

Since I don’t expect it to do the dishes or feed the cat, I guess it’s a 5-star item!

I purchased this mat to fit a large treadmill with a 20×60 running area. The mat fits perfectly under the mill and runs the length of it. No more having a mat that is too small with this one.

The material it is made of is very solid and is easy to clean.

Highly recommend this for anyone who has a larger treadmill.
